Le monde proche du dernier periode,
Saturne encor tard sera de retour:
Translat empire deuers nation Brodde,
L'oeil arraché à Narbon par Autour.

Translation (Van Berkel, 2002)
Als de wereld dichtbij haar laatste periode is
Zal Saturnus nog laat terugkeren.
Het rijk is overgeleverd aan de duistere natie.
Het oog wordt te Narbonne uitgerukt door de havik.

This quatrain was categorized as a millennium quatrain.
The first line. The "last period of the world" is the eighth millennium. The first line indicates that the fulfilment year will be shortly before 2827, the year of transition of the seventh millennium into the eighth.
The third line. The "Dusky nation" is a reference to the Babylon empire, described in Revelations.

Le monde proche du dernier periode,
Saturne encor tard sera de retour:
Translat empire devers nation Brodde,
L'oeil arraché à Narbon par Autour.

Brind'Amour interprets the first two lines as a reference to the transition of the seventh millennium, ruled by the Moon, into the eighth. This transition is marked by the return of Saturn and the golden age. Basing himself upon the year 5200 BC as the year in which the world has been created, he related this quatrain to 1800 AD.[1]

Le monde proche du dernier periode,
Saturne encor tard sera de retour:
Translat, empire deuers nation Brodde,
L'oeil arraché à Narbon par Autour.

Translation (Wöllner, 1926)

Wöllner interprets the first line as a reference to the last millennium, which, according to his calculations, runs from 2795 until 3797.[2]
