La grand copie qui passera les monts,
Saturne en l'Arq tournant du poisson Mars:
Venins cachés soubz testes de saulmons,
Leur chief pendu à fil de polemars.
Translation
(Van Berkel, 2002)
The great force which will pass the mountains,
Saturn in Sagittarius, Mars turning from the fish:
Poison hidden under the heads of salmon,
Their war chief hung with cord.
Van
Berkel categorizes this quatrain as a horary chart
quatrain.
The
second line. The "turning" of Mars in Pisces (fish) means that
Mars is changing its direction, i.e. from direct into retrograde or from
retrograde into direct. This change of direction has to occur while
Saturn is in Sagittarius.
In
the imagination period (October 16, 1524 - February 27, 1554), on
October 8, 1546, there was a configuration in which Mars changed from
retrograde into direct on the 20th degree of Pisces. At that time, Mars
was in square aspect with Saturn on the 21st degree of Sagittarius.
The
fulfilment date of this quatrain is May 19, 3255.

La grand copie que passera
les monts,
Saturne en l'Arq. tournant du poisson Mars:
Venins cachés sous testes de saulmons,
Leur chief pendu à fil de polemars.
Brind'Amour
interprets the second line as a reference to the beginning of the
retrogradation of Mars in Pisces while Saturn is in Sagittarius. He
dates the configuration in autumn 1546.[1]
Software data
show that the retrogradation of Mars started on August 6-7, 1546, at 1
Aries. From August 19, 1546, Mars went retrograde in Pisces.

Translation
Wöllner
interprets the second line as a reference to the beginning of the
retrogradation of Mars in Pisces while Saturn is in Sagittarius.
According to his calculations, this is the case on July 18, 1546, July
17, 1751 and July 13, 2193 (all data according to the Julian calendar).[2]
Software data
show that Mars is still direct on July 18, 1546, July 17, 1751 and July
13, 2193, and not stationary retrograde.
