Auant long temps le tout sera rangé,
Nous esperons vn siecle bien senestre:
L'estat des masques & des seulz bien changé,
Peu trouueront qu'à son rang vueille estre.

Translation (Van Berkel, 2002)
Before long all will be set in order,
We will expect a very sinister century.
The state of the masks and solitary ones much changed,
Few will be found who want to be in their place.

Van Berkel categorizes this quatrain as a millennium quatrain.
The first line. According to Nostradamus, everything is set in order at the beginning of the eighth millennium, the biblical kingdom of one thousand year, the "golden age" of Saturn. This will happen in 2827.
The century which precedes this millennium, will be disastrous.
The time span of this quatrain: 2727 - 2827.
In the Epistle to Henry II, there is a reference to a disastrous period of 25 years which precedes the eighth millennium. That period is the closing period of the prediction in this quatrain.

Avant long temps le tout sera rangé,
Nous esperons un siecle bien senestre:
L'estat des marques & des scelz bien changé,
Peu troveront qu'à son rang veuille estre.

Brind'Amour interprets the second line as a reference to the 17th century.[1]
