Beaucoup auant telles menées,
Ceux d'Orient par la vertu lunaire:
L'an mil sept cens feront grands emmenées,
Subiugant presque le coing Aquilonaire.
Translation
(Van Berkel, 2004)
Long before such
intrigues
Those of the East by the virtue of the moon
The year seventeen hundred they will cause many to be carried off
Subjugating almost the North Corner.
Van
Berkel categorizes this quatrain as a year
quatrain.
The
smallest year, mentioned in the quatrains, is the year 580 in quatrain
06-02. The highest year is the year 1999 in quatrain
10-72. These
years are, regarding the figure, smaller than 2242, the number of years
of the time span of the quatrains. This led to the "reference
number system". The idea behind this system is that the years,
mentioned in the quatrains, are not years, but reference numbers in the
series of years between 1555 and 3797, the time span of the quatrains.
The
fulfilment year of this quatrains is (1555 + 1700) 3255.
The
words "virtue of the moon" are not dealing with the Moon as millennium ruler, but with the moon as a symbol of the
Islam.

Beaucoup beaucoup avant telles menées
Ceux d'Orient par la vertu lunaire
L'an mil sept cens feront grands emmenées,
Subjugant presques le coing Aquilonaire.
Brind'Amour
interprets the second line as a reference to the rulership of the Moon
over a period of 354 years and 4 months, running from 1533 to 1887.
Therefore, he interprets the fourth line as a reference to 1700 AD, a
year in this period.[1]

Translation
(Wöllner, 1926)
Lange vor solchen Umtrieben
machen die des Ostens durch die Kraft des Mondes
um das Jahr 1700 grosse Raubzüge
und unterjochen beinahe den nördlichen Winkel.
Wöllner
interprets the fourth line as a reference to 1700 AD because of the idea
that this quatrain, like quatrain
01-16, is founded upon the Solar Eclipse of September 13, 1699
(Julian calendar) on 0 Libra.[2]
According to
software data, this Solar Eclipse occurred on September 23, 1699
(Gregorian calendar), on 1 Libra.
