Faulx à l'estang ionct vers le
Sagitaire,
En son hault auge de
l'exaltation.
Peste, famine, mort de main militaire
Le siecle approche de renouation.
Translation (Van Berkel, 2002)
The scythe joint with the tin towards Sagittarius
At the high point of its exaltation:
Plague, famine, death by military hand,
The century approaches its renewal.
Van
Berkel categorizes this quatrain as a horary chart
quatrain.
The
first line indicates a conjunction of Saturn (the "scythe")
and Jupiter, who in astrology rules tin. The first line indicates also
that this conjunction does not occur in Sagittarius, but
"towards" Sagittarius, i.e. in Scorpio.
In the imagination period (October 16, 1524 - February 27, 1554), this
conjunction occurred only once: on September 18, 1544, on the 29th
degree of Scorpio.
The
fulfilment date of this quatrain is July 30, 3096. This date corresponds
with the fourth line, in which it reads that the century approaches
renewal. The year 3096 is close to the transition of the 31st century
into the 32nd.

Faulx à l'estaing joinct vers le Sagitaire
En son hault auge de
l'exaltation:
Peste, famine, mort de main militaire:
Le siecle approche de renovation.
Brind'Amour
interprets the first two lines as a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in
Sagittarius in 1641, which is the beginning of a 240 year series of
Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions in the fire element. The fourth line would
point at this beginning, the French word siecle would mean cycle.
According to Brind'Amour, in this quatrain a passage is followed which
is in Livre de l'estat... [1]
However,
software data show that in 1641, Jupiter moved from 18
Capricorn to 15 Aquarius and Saturn from 27 Aquarius to 18 Pisces.

Faulx à l’estang ioinct vers le Sagittaire
En son hault Auge de l’exaltation
Peste, famine, mort de main militaire

Halbronn
interprets the word siecle in the fourth line as
"cycle". According to the "Regiomontanus prophecy",
to which according to Halbronn is referred in quatrain
01-51 and quatrain 06-02,
the first of a series of Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions in fire signs would
occur around 1584 in Aries. Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions occur every 200
years in one and the same element (fire, earth, water and air). Around
1584, not only would there be a change of element, but there would also
be a "very great conjunction" (coniunctio maxima), because the
Jupiter-Saturn conjunction would occur in Aries, the first sign of the
Zodiac.
In reality, the Jupiter-Saturn
conjunction occurred in 1583 in Pisces, which belongs to the water
element. At that time, astrologers believed that they were cheated by
astronomical data.
The next Jupiter-Saturn conjunction occurred on December 18,
1603, on 9 Sagittarius, one of the fire signs. Halbronn interprets the
first line as a reference to this conjunction and the fourth line as a
reference to the change of element: after a series of Jupiter-Saturn
conjunctions in water signs, a series of Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions in
fire signs starts from 1603. According to him, this quatrain was made
around 1584, because of the fact that in 1583 no "coniunctio maxima"
took place in Aries.[2]

Sichel in Sumpf, verbunden nach dem Schützen hin,
in ihrer Erhöhung.
Pest, Not, Tod von Kriegerhand.
Das Jahrhundert nähert sich einer Erneuerung.
Wöllner
interprets the first line as a reference to Saturn in Aquarius (he
translates the French word estang in Sumpf, i.e. Aquarius), sextile Jupiter
in Sagittarius. He dates this configuration on September 13, 1699,
Julian calendar: Sun: 0 Libra, Jupiter: 21 Sagittarius, Saturn: 26
Aquarius.[3]
Wöllner's analysis of quatrain
01-49 shows that he thinks that a Solar Eclipse, occurring on
September 13, 1699 (Julian calendar) is the astrological fundament of
these two quatrains.[4]
Software data for September
23, 1699 (Julian calendar): Sun: 1 Libra, Moon: 1 Aries, Jupiter: 22
Sagittarius, Saturn retrograde: 27 Aquarius, Caput Draconis: 23 Virgo.

Notes
-
Brind'Amour
1996, p.69-71. Brind'Amour bases the length of 240 jaar years on
Albumasar's Liber de magnis conjunctionibus. In this book,
there are periods of 240 years at stake, based upon Jupiter-Saturn
conjunctions in signs, which belong to one element (fire, earth,
water, air). A Jupiter-Saturn conjunction occurs once every 20
years. The distance between the degrees of longitude of two
successive conjunctions is always about 120 degrees of arc.
The length of 240 years is also given in Livre de l'estat...
(p.104).
Wöllner uses the name "elementary triangle" and counts
with a length of 200 years (see quatrain
10-74). [text]
