The
Prophecies of Nostradamus
are a series of more than 940 predictions about the future of the
world. They are published between 1555 and 1558 and are all-around
known. Often they are looked up, also nowadays, when a terrible
disaster has occurred, or when a war begun or when there was an
outbreak of a disease.
Already in his lifetime, Nostradamus (1503-1566) was famous as well as
abused because of his Prophecies
and the predictions he wrote in the Almanachs,
which he published every year.
During
years of research, Theo van Berkel discovered numerous aspects of the
methods of the French physician/astrologer. In his lecture, he
discusses for example the time structure, Nostradamus applied in order
to calculate the number of years of existence of the world. He
discusses astrological techniques of prediction and connections with
the Bible. He also discusses the visionary nature of the predictions
and the contents of the visions.
As illustration, sheets are presented, which for example contain
horoscopes, upon which some predictions are founded.
By
means of the astrological structures, Theo demonstrates that it is
possible to evaluate to what extent the Prophecies
will be fulfilled.
Theo,
born on July 10, 1956, practiced astrology from the beginning of the
'80's until the mid-'90's. During this period, he was freelance
correspondent of the astrological magazine Sagittarius.
In 1980, he got acquainted with the Prophecies.
In 2002, he published a book, privately, entitled Nostradamus,
astrologie en de Bijbel.
The text of the lecture is also available. These books are open to
inspection and there is an opportunity to buy or to order them.
